Condition
When considering an art purchase, know that one of
the most important variables affecting the value of a particular
piece is its CONDITION. Unfortunately, many uninitiated
buyers have acquired art at an "incredible price" only later to
discover that it's condition was greatly lacking, as was the underlying
value of the work. Our experience in working with art, especially
works on paper, has made us astutely aware of those works where
condition is acceptable and those where condition is not suitable
for a client. The importance of understanding condition cannot
be stressed enough; this is one critical area where the knowledge
and experience of a qualified dealer is invaluable.
Typically,
all artwork sold by Artbrokering.com is in pristine condition.
In a rare instance where there is a minor condition consideration
(e.g. vintage or older prints or works using paper prone to subtle
creasing), you'll be informed of the extent of that situation
and possible remedies prior to purchase and shipment. >back
