ARTISTS WANTED FOR EXHIBITION AND ONLINE REPRESENTATION

/ Strategic Fine Art is always interested in forming partnerships
with new artists. Aside from our current representation of major
contemporary prints, this website and its accompanying advertising
and promotion will be increasingly focused toward emerging artists
and on the education of new art buyers. Were eager to partner
with and promote your work to a growing list of clients who are
interested in acquiring affordable, original works by local and
regional talent.
Were
enthusiastic about partnering with a small group of talented artists,
both emerging and established, who are preferably formally trained
(self-taught artists will also be considered). At the moment were
specifically in search of painters who are creating exceptional
original work in dimensions which will satisfy both individual as
well as public /corporate (large scale work) buyers, in various
media and of the following influences:
- Male
and Female Figurative:
Styles similar to that of Lucien Freud, Raphael Soyer, Odd Nerdrum,
Steve Huston, Skip Liepke, Philip Pearlstein, etc. Moody, sensual,
powerful figurative work is desirable.
- Urban
Landscape, Landscape, Social Realism (subtle influences of Precisionism
with Southern California light are of particular interest):
Styles similar to that of R. Kenton Nelson, Ray Turner, Mark Beck,
Sally Storch, Charles Sheeler, Edward Hopper, Suong Yangchareon,
Reginald Marsh, works in the style of the Ash Can school, etc.
- Color
Field, Non-Objective, Expressionism etc.: Styles similar
to that of Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, Eric Orr, Charles Arnoldi,
Richard Diebenkorn (constructs), Clyfford Still, Helen Frankenthaler,
etc.

Work for Corporate and Hospitality Industry Applications:
Generally, abstract works (unique, multi-media or print) on paper
and canvas (large wall and free-standing sculpture also considered)
suitable for corporate and/or hospitality industry applications.
Works must meet the demands of large available quantities at reasonable
prices required by those industries.
In
order to facilitate meetings, openings, display and transport of
your artwork, were looking to work specifically with artists
residing ONLY in the Southern California area. If you feel that
your work is of serious quality that would withstand critical
scrutiny and satisfies the above qualifications, wed like
to hear from you. Please send between 5 and 20 slides and/or
photos of your work, each clearly marked with your name, the title,
dimensions and medium and well contact you. If sending
photos or slides, please include a SASE if youd like them
returned. If emailing visuals and/or bio, please type Artist in
the subject line.
With
all correspondence, please provide information about yourself,
e.g. an artist statement, your mailing address and phone number,
a brief description of your work and training and a website
address, if you maintain one. After careful review of your submission,
studio visits may be requested. Please allow up to 90 days for
review of your work.
EMAILED IMAGES/ARTIST WEBSITE LINKS AND CVs ARE PREFERRED OVER
MAILED PORTFOLIOS. Be advised, upon review of your submission
you will be contacted ONLY if we feel we can assist you in successfully
representing your work.
